Medical Industry
Do you know what irk me about the medical industry?
Who can you trust when your doctor only look at you as $$$$.
Doctors lost their empathy and sympathy as soon as you walk into their office. They are not there to heal you, because if they do, they stop making money out of you and the pharmaceutical companies. They will use scare tactic by worrying you and you have no choice but to trust them.
My suggestions ...... ALWAYS do your research, ALWAYS ask questions. ALWAYS seek alternative ways, ALWAYS trust your instinct instead of theirs!
I think as a doctor you need to encourage your patients and their families, instead of scaring them.
I think as a doctor you need to be aware of your patients and their families emotional stands!
When my husband was hospitalized I had to fight on his behalf. What kind of care I want him to start doing and what kind of treatment I wanted him to get. I had to do a lot of research and asking a lot of questions to the point the doctor got angry at me for doing so. The doctor asked me .... who went to the medical school? Did you went to medical school? Do you think I get money from the pharmaceutical company?
We paid $ 200 per year per person for a membership just so that we can see a primary doctor at One Medical which is owned by Swedish Hospital. I will rethink twice before I renew this. Because my husband's primary care is a doctor who does not know how to communicate with her patient, no empathy nor sympathy.
